Trudy Chislett was introduced to yoga while completing the Holistic Practitioner Diploma Program from Centennial College. She is able to incorporate a holistic approach in teaching Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga. Trudy is very passionate about the slower and deeper side of yoga and brings a gentle sweetness to her classes to ensure students are able to fully surrender and relax into every posture.
After completing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Toronto, she furthered her yoga studies by obtaining a certificate in Kids to Teens Yoga at The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto. Since then, has developed and implemented a Kids and Teens Yoga Program in Scarborough and along side her wonderful daughter they developed a Yoga and Nature Program. With an understanding that children are facing enormous amounts of stress by implementing a yoga program to include mindfulness and meditation, and outdoor education skills, children of all ages are more knowledgeable in handling their stresses.
Trudy truly believes that there is a class for every BODY. It takes time to find the one for you.
When you attend her Gentle and Restorative and Yin Classes, be prepared to NOT do yoga, as yoga is doing you. Just breathe and be in a beautifully safe and nurturing way.
